Will there be a 8 Year Reunion between Marcus Camby and The Knicks?

Portland Trail Blazers' Marcus Camby (23) Reacts
AP
A blog from Ken Berger of CBS Sports writes the Portland Trailblazer maybe considering going into rebuilding mode, and Andre Miller, Marcus Camby, and Joel Przybilla may be the first to shipped off in an effort for the team to get young and healthier. However, the veteran center prefers strongly to stay in Portland and will contemplate retirement, if the wrong deal presents itself. However, Camby's old stomping ground in New York maybe a preferable destination for him.

Personally, I believe as long as the Knicks don't have to give up too much for him, they should seriously look into this. Camby is 36, and while he can very well be a force in the paint until his 40's, the risk of an early break down is too high.  This would be strictly a "win now" trade. He would instantly address and major issue of the the Knicks, which is rebounding, and can be that big man to clog up the middle to allow Amar'e Stoudermire to return to his natural position at power forward. He would also make the Knicks better on defense, instantly due to his shot blocking prowess. If this speculation comes to life, mark this as another Knick win.
