Seven Lives Left For Amar'e... NBA Rescinds the Knicks Forward's Techincal

Amar'e Stoudermire received a gift from the NBA when they announced that they would accept the appeal made by the Knicks to rescind a technical foul handed to Amar'e Stoudermire during Thursday's verse the Orlando Magic. He now has 9 total technicals on the year after the NBA's favorable decision. The techincal was giving for his demonstrative yell after blocking a shot by Orlando's Gilbert Arenas.  (word is he yelled out "Get that Stuff Outta Here!", and there's a reason the word "stuff" is in italics)
Players are automatically suspended for one game after receiving their 16th technical foul of the season, and the one-game suspensions keep coming after any additional technical fouls, so we can all see that this was indeed a gracious gift by the NBA. "He gets in the habit of he likes to clap after something. They were disallowing that at the beginning, now they're a little bit more lenient on that. But most big guys, they get banged around. He goes to the hole hard, and sometimes he feels like he gets fouled. But that's all big guys," stated D'Antoni. "The battle is tough, and it's hard to referee those things. I think it's just the reaction. He plays the game passionately, and sometimes he goes over the line."
