Will the Knicks Miss Danilo Gallinari?
Many of us believe that Danilo Gallinari is a good player with a high ceiling, but his positive impact on this team has been very inconsistent thus far. Gallinari receives a lot of positive attention,(like the Knicks campaign to make him an all-star) but the player who deserves praise the most other than Felton and Stoudermire is WILSON CHANDLER.
Chandler leaves his heart on the court night in and out. Even if he has an off game, he still contributes in a big way by filling up the stat sheet in all other areas. His impact is so tremendous that I believe the Knicks record would not be where it is without him. I can't say the same for Gallinari. Gallinari is a scorer, and at 6'11, its kind of disappointing that he doesn't do much else.
As of now, Gallinari's game is that of a role player, so that why it is pretty easy to replace him in the line up. He's still young, but he definitely has some work to do to complete his game. As long as Bill Walker and Shaun Williams can continue to put the ball in the basket, sorry to say but, Danilo will not be missed as much as expected.
